Eastern Illinois Game Notes
* With the loss, Eastern Illinois ended its season with a 27-30 record.
The Panthers also fell to 1-4 all-time in the NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament.
* The Panthers lost for the fourth time in extra innings this season,
falling to 1-4 overall in extra-inning contests.
* Eastern Illinois scored at least seven runs for the fifth straight game
and totaled 17 runs in its two games at the NCAA Lincoln Regional.
* Brett Nommensen finished 2-for-5 at the plate with a home run and two
RBIs to extend his career-long hitting streak to 12 games. His multi-hit game was his second of the weekend and his third straight overall.
Nommensen, who finished with five hits in two games at the NCAA Lincoln Regional, finished his junior season with a team-high 24 multi-hit games.
* Nommensen also finished the season with 82 hits, the second-highest
single-season total in Eastern Illinois history.
* Nommensen hit his fifth home run of the season on Saturday and his first
since May 10.
* Jordan Tokarz finished 2-for-4 in the game, increasing his season at-bat
total to 231, tying Chris Uhle's school record, set in 2003.
* Alex Gee homered for the second straight game on Saturday, finishing the
year with four home runs. The last Panther to homer in consecutive games was Erik Hyber, who went deep in three straight games in 2007.
* Eastern Illinois gave up two first-inning runs for the second straight
game.
* EIU was averaging just 0.55 home runs per game entering the NCAA Lincoln
Regional, but the Panthers hit five home runs in two games at the regional.
* Eastern Illinois recorded 12 hits on Saturday after totaling 13 hits on
Friday. Through three games, every team in the NCAA Lincoln Regional has recorded at least 10 hits in every contest.
* The Panthers' four-run fifth inning marked the 26th time this season
Eastern Illinois scored four or more runs in an inning and the 10th time in the month of May.

Oral Roberts Game Notes
* Oral Roberts improved to 47-13 on the season with the win and also
improved to 3-1 in extra innings.
* ORU scored at least seven runs for the seventh straight game. The Golden
Eagles have now scored 15 runs through their first two games of the NCAA Lincoln Regional.
* After being outscored 8-2 after three innings on Friday, Oral Roberts
led 5-1 after three innings on Saturday.
* Oral Roberts scored six of its eight runs with two outs, including a
go-ahead run in the ninth inning and the game-winning run in the 10th.
* Oral Roberts recorded 14 hits on Saturday after totaling 11 hits on
Friday. Through three games of the regional, every team in the NCAA Lincoln Regional has recorded at least 10 hits in every game.
* Winning pitcher Carlos Luna improved to 13-0 on the season.
* David Genao finished 3-for-6 with two RBIs on Saturday to extend his
hitting streak to seven games. Genao produced his second straight three-hit game, tying his career high. In two games at the NCAA Lincoln Regional, Genao is 6-for-11 with a homer and four RBIs to go along with three runs scored.
* Three different Golden Eagles finished with three hits, including Genao,
Ben Petralli (3-for-5) and Ryan Groth (3-for-6).
* Oral Roberts coaxed 10 walks in the game, marking the third time this
season it drew at least 10 walks in a game. The Golden Eagles had not drawn more than eight walks in a game over their last 30 contests.
