IRVINE, Calif. --- The UCI Baseball team hosts its annual alumni weekend this Friday and Saturday (Feb. 5-6). Batting practice for alumni is available Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the Mazzo Family Batting Cages with a social following at Steelhead Brewery from 8-10 p.m.

Saturday, the Anteaters will host an "Old-Timers Game" with first pitch scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Anteater fans can then get a sneak-peek at the 2010 squad as the team takes on the alumni at 12:30 p.m. with an alumni reception following at 3:00 p.m. in Newkirk Pavilion. Alumni are also invited to attend the men's basketball game against Cal State Bakersfield at the Bren Center at 7:35 p.m.

The Old-Timers and Alumni games are free and open to the general public.
