UC Irvine Baseball Season Tickets, Mini-Plans on Sale Now
July 28, 2008 IRVINE, Calif. --- UC Irvine baseball fans are invited to attend a "Seat-Selection Party" for season-ticket and Mini-Plan* holders Thursday, Aug. 21, 2008 at 5:30 p.m. at Anteater Ballpark. Fans that purchase a UCI baseball season ticket on or before Aug. 21 will receive a special UC Irvine Athletics Fleece Blanket and have the opportunity to select their own seats for the 2009 season. Seat selection will begin with pre-sales in the order they were received. Those purchasing tickets on the day of the event will select after the pre-orders. Festivities that day include ballpark music, a tour of Newkirk Pavilion, the opportunity to spend a few minutes in the batting cages and complimentary refreshments. Head coach Mike Gillespie, UCI assistant coaches & players will be on hand to talk about the program's second straight trip to the Super Regionals and the outlook for 2009. Season tickets are just $150 and mini-plans start at just $35. The `Eaters' tentative 2009 home schedule includes UCLA, USC, Long Beach State, Tulane and Nevada.
