The UC Irvine Baseball program hosts its annual intrasquad series, Ants versus `Eaters, Thursday through Saturday (Nov. 19-21) at Cicerone Field at Anteater Ballpark.

The series is free and open to the general public. Game one, scheduled for 6:00 p.m., is sponsored by El Cholo's. Free tacos will be handed out to fans, beginning at first pitch, and the first 100 fans will receive a free Home Run Hanky. The "rally towel" will be good for 10-percent off at El Cholo's in Irvine following any regular-season UC Irvine Baseball game throughout the 2010 season.

Friday's game is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. and first pitch for the series finale is slated for 11:00 a.m.

The Anteaters will also compete in the annual Mud Run, Nov. 22 in San Diego. The team invites alumni, family and friends to join them this year. Support the program by running the 5K or 10K race, sponsoring a UCI Player or by sending in a donation.
