IRVINE, Calif. --- The annual Ants vs. 'Eaters intrasquad teams were set today during Draft Day at Newkirk Pavilion. Each set of captains was given a minute on the clock to announce their picks. First pick, via coin toss, was given to the Ants, captained by Danny Bibona and Francis Larson. The 'Eaters are captained by the duo of Jeff Cusick and Eric Pettis.

The series kicks off Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at Cicerone Field at Anteater Ballpark. The series opener, Nov. 19, is sponsored by El Cholo's, who will be on hand to give out free tacos during the game. Also, rally towels will be given to the first 100 fans. The rally towels will be good for a discount at El Cholo's in Irvine during the 2010 UC Irvine Baseball regular season. Admission to the series is free and open to the public.
