2011-12:  He broke the 18-year-old UCI record for single-season blocked shots with 55 as a true freshman...also set a new school for single-game blocked shots with eight in the Feb. 25 win over Cal State Northridge...had seven rejections in the Jan. 24 victory over Seattle University...averaged 7.8 points with a high of 21 in that win over Seattle...hit 9 of 10 shots in that game and added 10 rebounds...had a high of 12 boards in the Dec. 10 win over Vanguard University.

2010-11:  He attended New Hampton (N.H.) Prep after being ranked the 16th player in the class of 2010 out of Sacramento High School, according to NorCalPreps.com.

2009-10:  He averaged 11 points and 12 rebounds per game as a senior at Sacramento High....top-scoring game was 22 points against Vista del Lago...scored in double figures 15 times....had 16 rebounds against Clovis West and reached twin digits in boards in 13 games....recorded 10 double-doubles during his senior season, including three of the final five games....earned All-Metro League recognition as a senior....was league high jump champion as a junior and senior in track and field....also competed in volleyball.
