Ryan Badrtalei Position: Assistant Coach Experience: 5th Season

Ryan Badrtalei has been a member of the UC Irvine men's basketball staff since 2005 and is in his first season as an assistant coach. He previously served three years as the basketball operations director and he was video coordinator for the Anteaters during his first season.

He joined the Anteater staff in 2005 after serving the previous two seasons as a varsity assistant and junior varsity coach at Capistrano Valley High School, his alma mater, under Brian Mulligan, the son of former UCI head coach Bill Mulligan.

Badrtalei graduated from UCLA in 2003 with a degree in psychobiology and a minor in education studies. While at UCLA, he was an academic counselor, peer mentor/advisor, an undergraduate teaching assistant, and an Executive Committee member of the Student Alumni Association. He was also involved with the men's basketball program and was a member of the scout team with the Bruin women's basketball team.
