Men's Basketball:
JC: Transferred to UCI this year after playing two seasons at McCook (Neb.) Community College.... averaged 14 points, 4 assists and shot 43 percent from three-point range en route to All-Region IX honors last season for Coach Ty Orton....earned second-team all-state and all-conference honors....also earned academic all-conference distinction....had high-scoring games of 30 points versus Southeast Nebraska C.C., 27 against Western Wyoming C.C. and 21 in a victory over Northeast Nebraska C.C....recorded 11 assists versus Lamar C.C....was named to the Omaha World-Herald's All-Nebraska Junior College team. High School: Prepped at Mitchell High in Colorado Springs, Colo., where he was named to the all-area and all-conference first teams, and was an honorable mention all-state player....averaged 17 points and 4 assists as a senior for coach Al Blanc....was named Pikes Peak Region MVP....had high-scoring games of 36 against Mesa Ridge High School and 26 versus Durango High.
