High School: He was named the NorCal Preps Divison I Player of the Year and he earned All-State Division I honors Cal-Hi Sports as a senior at San Ramon Valley High School...also earned All-East Bay and All-Bay Area distinction...he was named MVP in the East Bay Athletic League...averaged 20.5 points and 5.0 rebounds per game for Coach John Raynor...scored a high of 36 points versus Concord De La Salle in the North Coast Section semifinals...had 32 against Serra in the NorCal CIF quarterfinals...his team won the East Bay Athletic League title.

Personal: Parents are Chris and Wanda McNealy...his father was a two-time, All-Big West Conference player at San Jose State (1982 & 1983) who played three seasons with the New York Knicks (1985-88).
