Rhett Soliday Position: Director of Basketball Operations Experience: 4th Season

Rhett Soliday is in his fourth season as a member of the UCI staff and is serving his first year as the director of basketball operations after three years as an assistant coach.

Soliday joined the Anteater staff in September 2006 from Concordia University in Irvine, where he served as an assistant coach for the previous four seasons. Concordia won the 2003 NAIA national title and was the runner-up in 2004.

He previously was a two-year starter for the Eagles, ranking third in career three-point field goal percentage (.405) and fourth in three-pointers made (113). He scored 620 points in his two seasons at Concordia and was the team captain as a senior. Soliday graduated from Concordia in 2002 with a degree in history/political science.

Before attending Concordia, he was a two-year starter at Big Bend Community College in Moses Lake, Wash. Soliday earned All-Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges honors twice and helped lead the Vikings to the NWAACC Final Four in his freshman season.

Soliday and his wife, Kim, have a daughter, Peyton.
