2008-09: Earned All-Big West Conference Second Team and Freshman Team honors...led UCI in scoring with a 14.0 average, the highest for an Anteater frosh in 14 years...he ranked seventh in the Big West in scoring (14.0), eighth in field-goal percentage (.445)and ninth in rebounding (6.0)...had six 20-point games, including a high of 25 in the Jan. 3 win over Cal State Fullerton...added eight rebounds in that victory...recorded 22 games of double-digit scoring...recorded two double-doubles with 16 points and 10 rebounds in Feb. 21 win at Hawai'i, and 19 points and 10 boards in Jan. 31 loss to Long Beach State...had a career-high six assists at UC Davis Feb. 12...recorded 53 assists for the season...played in all 31 games and started the last 30...averaged 17.0 points and 7.0 rebounds in the season's final six contests.

High School: He was named 2007-08 Riverside County Player of the Year by the Press-Enterprise after averaging 20.4 points and 9.3 rebounds at Riverside King High...recorded 18 double-doubles and shot 61 percent from the field en route to first team All-Ivy League honors...was named the CIF-SS Division 1A Player of the Year for Coach Tim Sweeney's club that finished 32-3 overall and won the CIF championship.

Personal: A sociology major...parents are Francois and Bonita Wise...his father Francois Wise, is a former Long Beach State All-American who is the 49ers' career leader in rebounds, snaring 896 boards from 1976-80 in addition to scoring 1,305 points...his uncle, Willie Wise, was a standout in the American Basketball Association.
