Jerry Green Named MVP in Germany

IRVINE, Calif. --- Former UC Irvine men's basketball standout Jerry Green has been named Most Valuable Player of the Bundesliga League in Germany. That is the premier league in Germany. He averaged 15.9 points, 5.2 assists and 4.2 rebounds for EnBW Ludwigsburg this season.

The 6-3 guard played at UCI from 1998-2002 and is the school's career scoring leader with 1,993 points. He was Big West Conference Player of the Year and Associated Press Honorable Mention All-America in 2001 and 2002.

Former Utah State player Nate Harris is a teammate on the Ludwigsburg squad.
