Newport, Calif. - The Irvine men raced at the Newport Autumn Rowing Festival this past Sunday, November 4th. The varsity squad raced in two even eights down this 4,400 meter course. One varsity boat came in 9th out of 28 with a time of 15:51 and the second boat came in 19th out of 28 with a time of 16:18. The novice team with one week of rowing under their belt rowed in two eights. All of the athletes had a great rowing experience and are looking forward to their next race!
