Earned 2008 Big West Conference Player of the Year honors after winning medalist honors at the conference tournament with a 54-hole score of 207, including a 6-under 66 in the second round...also named first team All-Big West as UCI won its second straight league title...finished 14th (208) at the NCAA East Regional...was named to the PING All-Pacific Region team for 2007-08...had seven top-10 finishes during the season and led the Anteaters with a 71.57 stroke average...was runner-up in match play at the 2008 U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship....shot 69-69 in the Public Links qualifier...also competed in the 2008 U.S. Amateur Championship at Pinehurst based on his runner-up finish at the U.S. Amateur Public Links...was named Big West Conference Freshman of the Year in 2006-07 and first team All-Big West....finished third at the 2007 Big West Championship with a 54-hole score of 211 at Tijeras Creek Golf Club in helping UCI to the team title....had four other top-10 showings during the season, including third (206) at the Pacific Invitational....was named Big West Golfer of the Month for November 2006 following that performance....posted a low score of 7-under 65 in the opening round of the Big West Championship....finished fifth (65-68-74) at the 2007 California State Fair Amateur Championship....placed 13th at the 2007 Sahalee Players Championship and 14th at the '07 Scratch Players Championship....was a three-time All-Southwestern League player at Temecula Valley High School for coach Nick Anderson....finished 20th at the 2006 Southwestern Amateur....tied for 40th at the California State Open....made the cut at the California State Fair Amateur Championship....won five straight Golden State events.
