Led UCI with a second-place finish in the Saint Mary's College Invitational at Poppy Hills in Pebble Beach in September 2008...shot a 67 in the final round and finished with a 54-hole total of 5-under 208...placed 14th (219) in the 2009 Big West Conference Championship at the San Luis Obispo Country Club and 20th (227) in the Anteater Invitational at El Niguel...played in eight tournaments for the year with a stroke average of 74.21...had a pair of top-20 showings in 2007-08, finishing 20th at the Del Walker Intercollegiate and the Giustina Memorial...best round of the year was 68 in the Turtle Bay Resort Collegiate Invitational...reached the round of 16 in match play at the 2008 California State Amateur...joined the UCI program from Palm Desert High School....finished third in the 2007 CIF State Championship at Poppy Hills, becoming the first Palm Desert golfer to compete at the state championship....three-time All-Desert Valley League player for coach Jack Stewart....placed second in the Desert Valley League Championship as a senior....won the SCPGA Desert Tournament of Champions (67-67)....also placed first in the SCPGA Toyota Tour Cup at Desert Falls (67-68)....was runner-up in the SCPGA Toyota Tour Cup at Twin Oaks (68-70).
