Earned All-Big West Conference first team honors in 2005-06....finished 11th (220) at the '06 Big West Championships at Tijeras Creek....was 46th (214) at the 2006 NCAA West Regional....had an average of 73.37 in 2005-06....was second (141) at the U.S. Intercollegiate at Stanford and fifth (145) in the Anteater Invitational at Mesa Verde Country Club....won the titles of the 2005 Long Beach Match Play Championship and the Long Beach City Championship....had UCI's top average as a true freshman in 2004-05 at 73.37 through 41 rounds....competed as an individual in the 2005 NCAA West Regional at the Stanford Golf Course, finishing 77th (223)....finished 16th (219) in the '05 Big West Conference Championships at Tijeras Creek Golf Club....recorded six top-10 finishes last season, including fourth (211) in the Northwest Collegiate Classic at Trysting Tree Golf Club in Corvallis, Ore....posted his low round of the season at 68 in that tournament....added three top-20 showings last season....was 2001 and 2004 San Gabriel Valley League individual champion for Gahr High School....won the 2003 CIF Southern Section individual title with a 66 at Canyon Country Club in Palm Springs....helped lead Gahr to three straight CIF Southern Section and San Gabriel Valley League team titles....member of the 2004 CIF Southern California state championship team....competed for the U.S. in the Junior World Championships in Japan in the summer of 2004....he tied for second in the individual competition with an 11-under total of 277 to help lead the American squad to the World title....tied for ninth in the 2004 California State Amateur Championship....won the 2003 AGJA tournament at Marshallia Ranch....was named 2004 Gahr High School Athlete of the Year.
