UCI in 3rd Place at Anteater Invitational

COSTA MESA, Calif. --- Santa Clara is the team leader after the first two rounds of the 30th Anteater Invitational at Mesa Verde Country Club.
The Broncos have a 14-under total of 554 for 36 holes. Cal State Northridge is second at 567 and UC Irvine third at 568 in the 10-team field.
UCI senior John Chin is the individual leader at 11-under 131 after rounds of 66 and 65. Nick Delio of Cal State Northridge is second at 6-under 136 (69-67) while Santa Clara's Scott Travers (69-68) and Jimmy Cacho (68-69) are tied for third at 137.
Anteater junior Max Greil is in 10th place at 142 (73-69), senior Tim Cha (76-72) and junior Bryan Harris (74-74) are tied for 33rd at 148, and freshman Michael Yang is 42nd at 150 (77-73).
Three UCI players are competing individually - junior Shaun O'Meara (72-72) and freshman Mickey Chan (71-73) are tied for 16th at 144, and freshman Jerry He is 26th at 146 (75-71).
The final 18 holes are scheduled for Tuesday.
