Men's Golf:
UC Irvine in Fifth Place after Two Rounds of U.S. Intercollegiate

STANFORD, Calif. --- UC Irvine is in fifth place after the first two rounds of the U.S. Intercollegiate played Saturday at the Stanford University Golf Course. The final round is scheduled for Sunday. USC leads the 17-team field with a 36-hole total of 554. Stanford is second at 572, UCLA is third at 574, California fourth at 577 and UCI fifth at 581. Rory Hie of USC is the individual leader at 7-under 133 after shooting 62-71 on the par-70 course. UCI's Tim Cha (69-75), John Chin (70-74) and Kenny Kim (70-74) are tied for 14th place at 144.
