FORT WORTH, Tex. --- The UC Irvine men's golf team is in sixth place after two rounds of the UTA/Waterchase Invitational at Waterchase Golf Club in Fort Worth, Tex.

Rice leads the 19-team field with 36-hole score of 572. Host UT-Arlington is in second place at 575, Wichita State third at 578 while UCI shot 583 Monday for sixth position.

Wichita State's Dustin Garza (68-70) and Rice's Michael Buttacavoli (70-68) are tied for first place at 6-under 138.

Anteater senior Tim Cha is third at 2-under 142 (71-71), junior Max Greil is ninth at 144 (70-74), senior John Chin is 46th at 149 (77-72), junior Bryan Harris 54th at 150 (74-76) and freshman Jerry He is 63rd at 152 (75-77).

The final 18 holes are scheduled for Tuesday.
