UC Irvine in 10th Place at Del Walker Intercollegiate

LONG BEACH, Calif. --- The UC Irvine men's golf team is in 10th place as the second round of the Del Walker Intercollegiate was suspended Thursday due to darkness at Virginia Country Club.
Colorado State leads the 16-team field at 12-under par as play was suspended. Oregon State (-9) is second and Saint Mary's College (-8) third. UCI is at 10-over par for the tournament and is 2-under after 15 holes in the second round.
Daniel Cone of Saint Mary's leads at 9-under par. He shot a 6-under 64 in the first round.
The Anteaters' John Chin shot 69 in the opening round and currently is 23rd at even-par. Max Greil (71 in the first round) is 30th at 1-over, Michael Yang (75) is 39th at 2-over, Jerry He (72) is 52nd at 4-over, Shaun O'Meara (75) is 60th at 5-over and Mickey Chan (79) is 83rd at +9.
The completion of the second round and the final 18 holes are scheduled for Friday.
