Bryan Wallace

Position: Volunteer Assistant Coach

Bryan Wallace is in his third season as a volunteer assistant at UC Irvine.

In addition to his volunteer work with UCI, Wallace is an Assistant Director for United Futbol Club. Prior to joining the UCI staff he served two years as an assistant coach at Cal Poly Pomona.

His coaching career began at Etiwanda High School from 1996-98. He was the varsity coach for two years and led them to the Mt. Baldy League championship in 1998 and the California Interscholastic Federation quarterfinals. He also served as a consultant for the Jamaican U17 National team through World Cup qualifying in 2002-04.


Wallace served as the Assistant Director of Coaching at American Global Soccer School (AGSS) under Afshin Ghotbi. Together the coaches guided many teams to domestic and International competitions, including the Nomads Tournament, Surf Cup, North Huntington Beach Cup, Dallas Cup, California Youth Soccer Association State National Cup, Chivas Cup (Mexico), Spartan Professional Youth Tournament (Netherlands) and Euro-Foot Tournament (Belgium). His AGSS teams have won two California Youth Soccer Association State National Cup Championships U19 boys in Southern California.


His playing career was highlighted by his experience at Waterhouse United Football Club in Kingston, Jamaica and also playing with the U17 and U20 Jamaican National Men's team.
