IRVINE, Calif. - Former Anteaters Brad Evans and Kenny Schoeni had big weeks in Major League Soccer this past week.

Brad Evans scored his third goal of the season in Seattle Sounders FC's final regular season match. Evans scored the game-winner against FC Dallas in the 84th minute as he chipped the ball over the keeper.

Goalkeeper Kenny Schoeni was called up from Miami of the USL by the Columbus Crew. Schoeni got his first career start in MLS in the Crew's match against New England. Schoeni had four saves in the match.

Both Seattle Sounders FC and the Columbus Crew will play in the 2009 MLS Cup Playoffs starting Thursday. Highlights of both Evans and Schoeni can be viewed at the link below.
