Irving Garcia Named Big West Offensive Player of the Year; Seven `Eaters Earn Honors

IRVINE, Calif. – Senior Irving Garcia (San Luis, Ariz./Yavapai College) was named Big West Offensive Player of the Year Tuesday as announced by the Big West Conference. 

The Anteaters had four players earn All-Big West first team honors. Garcia earned his second All-Big West first team honor. Senior Carlos Aguilar (Palmdale/Taft College), senior Kevin Santora (Los Altos/Bellarmine College Prep) and junior Amani Walker (San Diego/Francis Parker HS) each earned their first career All-Big West honors.

Junior Spencer Thompson (Ahwatukee, Ariz./Mountain Pointe HS) was named All-Big West second team for his second career All-Big West honor.

Junior Corey Attaway (Chino HS) and freshman Jonathan Preito (La Habra HS) each were named All-Big West honorable mention for their first career All-Big West honors.
