IRVINE, Calif. - Senior Irving Garcia (San Luis, Ariz./Yavapai College) was named to Soccer America’s MVPs first team Friday.

This is the second straight year that Garcia has been honored by Soccer America after receiving second team honors in 2008.

This is the fifth national postseason honor for Garcia this season; NSCAA All-America third team, College Soccer News All-America second team, TopDrawerSoccer.com Team of the Season - first team and Goal.com Team of the Year - second team.
