IRVINE, Calif. --- UC Irvine men's tennis kicked off Red Ribbon Week at Reilly Elementary School in Mission Viejo this week. Programs such as "Say No To Drugs" and the John Wooden Pyramid of Success surrounded the young kids on this awesome outing as the team was able to combine the message with tennis. Peanut Louie Harper, a past professional tennis player, and her husband, Tim, started what is known as "Harper for Kids" out of the Bay Area, and she has authored a book for Children using John Wooden's Pyramid.

Coach Trevor Kronemann was very encouraged by the experience saying, "this is one of those moments that lasts a lifetime and one that will make a difference in a child's life. Peanut and her husband Tim are great role models and will continue to touch many lives with their foundation. We are fortunate to have participated, and that part of the "Southern California Six" recruiting class made an impact in the world today. Jonathan Hammel, Tyler Pham, Caryl Hernandez, and Jonathan Poon are the future of Anteater Tennis Athletics."
