UCI Falls 6-1 to No. 43 Princeton in Coto de Caza

Jonathan Poon salvaged UCI's match with wins in doubles and singles.

COTO DE CAZA, Calif. --- UCI and Princeton faced off at the Coto de Caza Country Club yet again with the Tigers taking this matchup, 6-1, Saturday afternoon.

New doubles pair Jacob Jung and Justin Agbayani nearly stole the doubles point from the Tigers, but fell 9-8 to give Princeton the early advantage.

All six singles matches ended in straight sets with Jonathan taking the only point for the Anteaters winning 6-0, 6-3 in the No. 5 position.

UCI (3-15, 0-1) is off until April 5th now when it travels to Cal Poly for a 1:00 p.m. match to restart Big West competition.
