MALIBU, Calif. - The UC Irvine men's tennis team continued play at the Wilson/ITA Southwest Regional in Malibu on the campus of Pepperdine University Saturday.

Steven Henderson upset the No. 1 seed of the tournament Dean Jackson of San Diego 7-6, 6-0 in the round of 32. Jackson is ranked 17th in the nation by the ITA Preseason poll. Henderson then went on to lose in the round of 16. Sam Gould is the lone UCI player still competing as he is in the round of 32 of the consolation bracket Sunday where he faces No. 9 seed Daniel Nguyen of USC.

The Wilson/ITA Southwest Regional will continue through Tuesday in Malibu.
