Men's Tennis:
Nine Anteaters Earn All-Big West Honors

IRVINE, Calif. - The UC Irvine men's tennis team had a Big West record nine players earn All-Big West honors Tuesday.
Freshmen Steven Henderson (Poway HS) and Fabian Matthews (Corona del Mar HS) each were named All-Big West first team in singles. Sophomore Khunpol Issara (Bangkok, Thailand) was named All-Big West second team in singles. Sophomore Stephen Stege (Los Gatos HS) was given All-Big West honorable mention honors.
The doubles team of Khunpol Issara and freshman Sam Gould (Hamilton, New Zealand) was named All-Big West first team in doubles. Issara also earned All-Big West second team doubles honors with senior Wes Miller (Newport Beach/Arizona State). Junior Zac Tsai (Tarzana/Oaks Christian HS) and freshman Jon Kazarian (Rancho Palos Verdes/Peninsula HS) were named All-Big West second team in doubles. Sophomore Gautam Vaidyanathan (University HS) and Steven Henderson were named All-Big West honorable mention in doubles.
This is the second All-Big West singles honor for Issara and the third All-Big West doubles honor for Tsai. All-Big West Honorable Mention - Doubles
