Irvine, Calif. -- The UC Irvine men's volleyball team unveiled its 2009 NCAA Championship banner in a ceremony at the Bren Center Thursday. 

The team was joined by 

City of Irvine Councilmember Beth Krom, Field Representative for Congressmember John Campbell Kaitlyn Shimmin, Field Representative for Senator Tom Harman Emanuel Patrascu, Chancellor Michael Drake, Executive Vice Chancellor Michael Gottfredson, Athletics Director Mike Izzi and Senior Associate Athletic Director Paula Smith.
