Was a redshirt at UCI last season....joined the Anteater program after earning first team All-CIF and All-Avocado League honors at Carlsbad High School....competed on CIF championship teams in water polo and swimming....also played basketball....was named Carlsbad High's Scholar-Athlete of the Year in addition to numerous other awards....majoring in social ecology.
