The two-time All-American scored 49 goals in 2009 with a high of four against Pepperdine (11/15/09) and Redlands (9/12/09)...was named second team All-America and All-MPSF...led UCI in scoring in 2008 with 68 goals, scoring a high of six on three occasions...ranked second in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation with an average of 2.62 goals per game...was named third team All-America and second team All-MPSF...was named MPSF Player of the Week in late October 2008 after scoring six goals each in wins over Long Beach State and Concordia...recorded 31 goals as a redshirt freshman in '07...scored a high of three goals in a 13-12 win over Cal (11/24/07) in the MPSF Tournament semifinals...also had three goals versus UC San Diego (11/7/07)...was a redshirt with the UCI program in 2006....earned first team All-Santa Clara Valley Athletic League honors at Gunn High School in Palo Alto....was named league MVP as a senior for Coach Mark Hernandez....earned All-Central Coast Section honors as a junior and senior....also competed in swimming....majoring in criminology, law and society....was a Big West Scholar-Athlete in 2009-10...parents are Kevin and Celeste Johnson...his twin brother, Matt, is a goalie for UCI.
