In his fourth season with the Anteaters....scored a pair of goals in 2008, one each against Brown (10/19/08) and Pomona-Pitzer (10/11/08)...was a two-time All-Pac 5 League selection at San Luis Obispo High School for coach Dave Berry....also competed on a CIF championship swimming team and earned all-league honors.... his grandfather, Ted, is UCI's coach emeritus and his father, George, was an All-American at UCI in 1980...both are members of the UCI Athletics Hall of Fame....his brother, Ty, also competed with the UCI program....majoring in political science....earned Big West Scholar-Athlete honors the past three years...in 2008, he was named to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic team and also to the Outstanding category in an academic award from the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches.
