IRVINE, Calif. --- Seventh-ranked UC Irvine outscored No. 13 UC San Diego 8-2 in the second half to pull away for the 10-5 win Saturday in the Southern California Tournament at Anteater Pool.

Junior Cole Bielskis scored three of his game-high four goals in the second half. Cole Bitter, Jamie Frank and Brandon Johnson added two each for the Anteaters and senior goalie Matt Garcia had 14 saves.  The Anteaters face Stanford at 5:20 p.m. Saturday.

Daniel Garcia led the Tritons with three goals.

UC San Diego (9-9)    1 - 2 - 1 - 1 --- 5
UC Irvine (7-4)          0 - 2 - 3 - 5 --- 10

UCSD: Daniel Garcia 3, Curtis Williamson, Steven Donohoe.

UCI: Cole Bielskis 4, Cole Bitter 2, Brandon Johnson 2, Jamie Frank 2.
