Ten UCI Players Earn MPSF All-Academic Honors

IRVINE, Calif. --- Ten UC Irvine men's water polo players have been named to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic team for the 2009 season.

UCI's honorees are Kyle Baxter, Greg Enloe, Sam Figueroa, James Frank, Derrik Jarvis, Griffin Lerman, Harvey Newland, Kelly Noecker, Nick Pfeil and Brian Pickford.

To be eligible for the award, student-athletes had to maintain a minimum 3.0 grade-point average, be a sophomore academically and must have completed one full academic year at the institution.
