USA Defeats Australia 10-7 at FINA World League Super Final
June 19, 2009 PODGORICA, Montenegro --- UC Irvine alum Jeff Powers scored a goal as the U.S. Senior National Team defeated Australia, 10-7, Friday at the FINA World League Super Final. Team USA will face Montenegro in a semifinal game Saturday at 11:30 a.m. (Pacific Time). The match can be viewed at www.universalsports.com. Two-time Olympian Powers scored a pair of goals and three-time Olympian Ryan Bailey one in a 10-7 loss to Serbia Thursday night.
