Tabbed as the 2009-10 NCAA Division I All-Independent Women's Basketball Newcomer of the Year while at North Carolina Central...also selected to the North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association (NCCSIA) University Division All-State Women's Basketball Second Team...ended her rookie season with 496 points, which was a single-season total only three other Lady Eagles had reached in the past 20 years and was the most points scored by a freshman in North Carolina Central history....ranked fifth in NCCU history for scoring average in a season after notching 19.1 points per contest...led her team in scoring, steals, free throw percentage and minutes played...was second on the team in rebounds, grabbing 5.6 rebounds per game, and second in assists with 66...scored 20 or more points in 14 games last season and poured in a season-high 32 points against Maryland Eastern Shore...recorded three double-doubles, while scoring in double-figures in 24 of her 26 appearances...earned two all-tournament team honors.
