UC Irvine Women Open the Season with the Parker Cup

Newport, Calif.- The UC Irvine women raced hard down their home course to open the racing season in the Parker Cup on March 2nd. Racing against two of the top schools in the WIRA association, Loyola Marymount and San Diego State, the varsity women significantly closed the margin from last years results. The varsity four placed 2nd between two San Diego State boats. The novice and lightweight boats all fought their way down the course and worked hard against these tough competitors.
