Anteaters Race at WIRA Championships

UC Irvine wrapped up their regular season competition at WIRA Championships in Sacramento April 28th and 29th competing against 28 schools from the West Coast.The novice 8 racing started off rough with breakage in their heat. They ended up 4th across the line securing a spot in the petite final. With all rowers moving strongly together in the final, the novice 8 crossed the line in a photo finish ending their season 9th overall. The novice 4 racing hard finished ahead of two crews in the third final placing 14th overall. The varsity women battled tough competition down the course crossing the line in the petite final in a photo finish with USD placing 11th overall.
