Newport Autumn Rowing Festival 11-4-07

Newport, Calif.- The Irvine women raced in the Newport Autumn Rowing Festival this past Sunday, November 4th. The varsity eight had a great race placing them 10th out of 21 with a time of 17:57. The 2nd varsity eight raced hard down the course placing 17th out of 21 with a time of 19:08. The varsity four raced the 4,400 meter race with great intensity placing 17th out of 21 with a time of 19:08. The novice women raced an eight with only one week of rowing experience prior to the race. All of the athletes enjoyed their racing experience and are looking forward to their next race!
