KAPOLEI, O`ahu - The UC Irvine women's golf team (316-310-617) moved into 11th after the second round of the Kent Youel Invitational at the Kapolei Golf Course Tuesday.

Patty Chawalitmetha is leading the way for the Anteaters, tying for 19th with a score of 152 (78-74). Freshman Hillary Packard is tied for 35th after carding a 155 (78-77), while senior Selaneé Henderson shot a 157 (81-76) and senior Kim Lorenzana (79-83) had a score of 162, to end the second round in 44th and 69th place, respectively. Freshman Sarah Fox had a two round total of 169 (83-86) and is in 93rd place.

Top-ranked UCLA (+8) increased their lead over the rest of the competition by shooting a three-over-par 291 on the second round. Third-ranked Southern California (+19) is closely trailed by California (+24). San Jose State (+37) bypassed Oregon State (+39; fifth place) to move into fourth and round out the top five.

Bruin teammates Maria Jose Uribe (-2) and Tiffany Joh (+1) are first and second atop the individual leaderboard. New Mexico State's Suterra Chanachai (+2) is in third with four players tied for fourth at +3.

The tournament wraps up tomorrow with a shotgun start at 7:20 a.m.
