Women's Golf:
Hillary Packard Named Big West Female Golfer of the Month

Irvine, Calif. - UC Irvine sophomore Hilary Packard was named Big West Female Golfer of the Month for the month of February.
Packard won her first collegiate tournament, capturing the Aztec Invitational with a score of 218 (68-77-73). She shot a 68 on the first round which was the low round of the tournament and is tied for the seventh lowest round in program history.
Packard also led UC Irvine to a team title at the Fresno State Lexus Classic with a fourth place finish. She fired a 54-hole total of 216 (71-72-73), her lowest career total for three rounds. Packard led the field in Par 5 scoring with a 4.50 mark and was tied for third in birdies with 11.
The sophomore owns a 75.53 scoring average over 15 rounds this season.
UC Irvine will host the Anteater Invitational March 30-April 1 at the Dove Canyon Country Club.
