UC Irvine's Selaneé Henderson Set to Play in US Women's Open

Irvine, Calif. - UC Irvine golfer Selaneé Henderson will participate in the US Women's Open Thursday-Sunday (June 28-July 1) at Pine Needles Lodge and Golf Cub in Southern Pines, North Carolina.

Henderson, who will be entering her senior year at UCI and is playing as an amateur, will tee off at 6:01 a.m. PDT with Yoora Kim of Korea and Audra Burks from Altamonte Springs, FL.

She is set to have practice rounds with Karrie Webb, Paula Creamer and Juli Inkster.

Henderson shot a 151 (78-73) at Lake Merced Country Club on June 11th to qualify for her first professional event.
