Selaneé Henderson Joins Americans for Fuji Xerox USA vs. Japan Collegiate Golf Championship

Irvine, Calif. -- UC Irvine senior Selaneé Henderson has been selected to the 12-member American team for the 2007 Fuji Xerox USA vs. Japan Collegiate Golf Championship July 11-13 at Tijeras Creek Golf Club in Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.
The team consists of four women's collegiate players and eight men's. The team will be coached by Wake Forest's Jerry Haas and Arizona State's Melissa Luellen.
Joining Henderson on the team are Vanderbilt's Jacqui Concolina, Arizona's Alison Walshe, Duke's Jennie Lee, UCLA's Kevin Chappell, of Vanderbilt, Rochester's Stephen Goodridge, Texas A&M's Bronson Burgoon, Stanford's Rob Grube, Wake Forest's Chris McCartin , Oklahoma City's Daniel Mitchell, Sonoma State's Jarin Todd, and Kansas' Gary Woodland. Team USA leads the all-time series, 24-7, and has won 11-straight competitions.
Henderson, who is coming off the U.S. Women's Open, is UCI's all-time leader in tournament victories with five, including two in 2007. She is a three-time All-Big West first team selection, being named Player of the Year in 2006.
