Women's Golf:
UC Irvine Women's Golfers Qualify For U.S. Amateur

Irvine, Calif. -- UC Irvine senior-to-be Jane Chin and incoming freshman Joy Trotter as well as 2008 graduate Selaneé Henderson qualified for the U.S. Women's Amateur to be held August 4-10 at the Eugene Country Club. Chin and Trotter each shot a 74, while Henderson carded a 75 at the sectional qualifying at the Hacienda Golf Club. Another incoming freshman, Lalita Patipaksiri shot a 74 at the Carlton Oaks Golf Club sectional qualifier in Santee, Calif. to advance to the U.S. Girls Junior held July 21-26 at the Hartford Golf Club in West Hartford, Conn.
