BANGKOK, Thailand - The U.S. women's golf team moved up two spots after the second round and are currently in sixth place at the 2007 World University Games in Bangkok, Thailand.

The U.S. women carry a two-day team total of 309, while the men also sit in sixth place at 438.

UC Irvine's Selaneé Henderson shot a 91 on day two for a combined score of 174, which is 45th.

Team USA was led by Jennifer Tangtiphaiboontana who shot a one-under 71 in the second round. She holds a two-round score of 154 and is tied for eighth place, seven shots off leader Danielle McVeigh of Ireland. Teammate Mary Jacobs shot a second-round 79 for a two-day total of 155 (T10th).

Great Britain and Ireland share the lead in the women's field at 302, while Japan holds on to the men's team lead with a score of 429.

The USA women are scheduled to tee off Hole 1 for round three starting at 7:50 a.m. on Thursday and will be playing with Mexico and Japan. The U.S. men will tee off beginning at 11:40 a.m. from the first hole with Korea and Chinese Taipei.
