Daytona Beach, Fla. -- Former UC Irvine All-American Jane Chin finished in a tie for 32nd at the LPGA Qualifying Tournament and becomes the Anteaters' first LPGA member.

Chin, who attended LPGA Rookie Training following the final round, shot a 71 Monday to move into a tie for 32nd with a five-round total of 363 (73, 65, 78-76, 71). With her finish she earns Priority List Category 16.  Her LPGA status also allows her to participate in Monday qualifiers for tournaments she does not gain immediate entry.
