Judy Christopher Named WPSL Co-Player of the Week
IRVINE, Calif. --- Judy Christopher (Ontario/Upland HS) was named the Women's Premiere Soccer League (WPSL) Co-Player of the Week after scoring twice and leading the San Diego SeaLions to the Pacific Conference playoffs for the first time since 2007.
Christopher, who was honored for controlling the pitch and winning balls, was an All-Big West Conference first-team honoree in 2010 after helping the Anteaters record their first-ever Big West regular-season title and advance to the third round of the NCAA Tournament.
Also playing for the SeaLions is All-American CoCo Goodson (Ramona/Texas), Devon Delarosa (San Diego/Rancho Bernardo HS) and Sarah Devine (San Diego/Poway HS).
Goodson was named a WPSL Co-Player of the Week in the month of June.
