Final Stats

Irvine, Calif. - The UNLV women's soccer team scored two second half goals to lift the Rebels to a 2-0 victory over UC Irvine in the season opener for both teams at Anteater Stadium Sunday.

UNLV's Ashleigh Shoughro scored the game winner at the 71:15 mark off a cross from LaChere Anglin. Haley Partridge finished the scoring with a breakaway down the middle at 84:12.

UNLV goalkeeper Alicia Lugo recorded four saves while UCI's Erin Henry had five saves.
