Alyssa Foutz gave the Wildcats a 1-0 lead in the 60th minute off a corner kick by Shaylee Hyde. The Anteaters tied the match at 1-1 as Kate Berrini converted a free kick from 30 yards out and kicked the ball over keeper Alyson Tucker’s head in the 75th minute. Foutz put Weber State back up 2-1 in the 78th minute as she put the ball into the right corner of the net after the ball was bouncing around inside the box. Berrini again tied the match in the 84th minute as sophomore Tanya Taylor (Buena Park/Sunny Hills HS) and freshman Carly Crowder (Monrovia/Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy) passed the ball along the left side of the box into Berrini in front of the net. Taylor would find Berrini again in the 88th minute to give UCI a 3-2 lead.

Sophomore keeper Danielle de Seriere (Cerritos/Mayfair HS) had six saves for the ‘Eaters. Keeper Rebecca Ritchie made five saves for the Wildcats in the start before leaving due to injury. Alyson Tucker had one save in 24 minutes.
