IRVINE, Calif.  - The UC Irvine women's soccer team (8-7-2, 2-2-2) tied Cal State Northridge 0-0 after two overtime periods Thursday night in Big West action at Anteater Stadium.

 

The Anteaters out shot CSUN 18-11 overall and had 11 shots on goal to five for the Matadors. Junior Kate Berrini had seven shots for UCI with three of them being on goal.

 

Sophomore keeper Danielle de Seriere (Cerritos/Mayfair HS) had five saves as she earned her third shutout of the season. Keeper Leah Elliott had 11 saves for CSUN as she earned the shutout.

 

The Anteaters return to action Friday, October 31st as they travel to San Luis Obispo to take on Cal Poly in Big West play at 7:00 p.m. at Mustang Stadium.
